Been using 3/4 inch copper on an air line setup and need a sleeve to go with my compression fitting. This brass one gonna work or do I need something different?

Copper tubing is exactly what this sleeve is built for. It pairs with standard compression fittings and requires no flaring, so assembly is pretty straightforward. For air service at 3/4 inch, you're looking at a 188 PSI working pressure with a 750 PSI burst rating behind it, so for most shop air applications that's plenty of headroom.

got some 3/4 copper line im tying into, is this the right sleeve or do i need to flare the tube first

For 3/4 inch tube OD copper, this sleeve is meant to be assembled without flaring. It is a compression sleeve used with copper or aluminum tubing to make the connection.
