This fitting is designed for use with aluminum, copper, and plastic tubing. Just a heads up, if you're using plastic tubing, except for Eaton PT230, you'll need that 2030 insert.

Use it when you need a 90 degree turn from 1/2 inch tube OD into a 3/8-18 male NPT connection. It is a brass compression male elbow made for aluminum, copper, or plastic tubing.

This brass compression fitting is suitable for hydraulic systems, as well as pneumatic and instrumentation applications. It's rated to handle pressures up to 2000 psi, depending on the tubing you're using with it.

At 2000 psi working pressure with a 4:1 safety factor built in, this fitting has solid overhead for most hydraulic press applications. CA360 brass is a durable alloy that handles pressure well, so as long as your tubing is rated to match and you're within the temperature window of negative 65 to positive 250 degrees F for metal tubing, you're in good shape for that kind of use.
