what hoses does this fitting actually work with? got a 338 hose on hand and just want to make sure before i order

Compatible hose types for this fitting are H105, H115, and H338. So the 338 hose you have on hand should work just fine with it. Assembly is straightforward too. Slide the nut and sleeve onto the hose first with the bevel edge of the sleeve facing out, push the hose in until it bottoms out, then screw the nut down until it contacts the body hex.
