got a 3/16 brake line, is this the right tube nut for it or am i off a size

For 3/16 inch brake or hydraulic tubing, this nut matches the standard 3/8 inch by 24 NF male thread size used on a lot of brake line connections, so it is the correct pairing when your assembly calls for 3/16 tube and 3/8-24 NF threads.
