Running this on a hydraulic press that throws a fair amount of vibration. liquid filled help with that, or am I gonna be replacing it regular?

Liquid filling is exactly what handles that kind of environment. The glycerin or oil inside dampens the needle movement caused by vibration and pressure pulsations, which keeps the internal mechanism from wearing out as fast as a dry gauge would. You'll get cleaner readings and a longer service life running it on equipment that cycles hard. One thing worth keeping in mind: if your system regularly runs near that 600 PSI ceiling, pull it back. Normal operation works best between 25% and 75% of the full scale, so keeping your working pressure somewhere in the 150 to 450 PSI range will do the most to extend its life.

got a spot for a bottom-mount gauge with 1/4 NPT threads. is this one a match, and what’s the dial size?

It uses a 1/4 NPT bottom connection with a male brass connector. The face is a 2.5 inch dial.

Reckon this gauge would hold up okay outside, or is it more for indoor use?

The 304 stainless steel construction is designed to offer good durability and corrosion resistance, which should help it hold up reasonably well in many outdoor environments. Just keep in mind the normal operating pressure recommendation of 25%-75% of the scale.
