Product Questions & Answers

got a HK series socket already, is this the right plug half for it or am i mixing standards
Question by: Harold J on May 14, 2025, 10:31 AM
The key detail is interchange. This plug half is an HK Series in brass and it is ISO 7241-1 Series B interchange, with a ball lock internal connection. Pairing it with a coupler body that is also ISO 7241-1 B is the match you want.

what's the lowest temperature this coupling can handle? got equipment that sees some pretty brutal winters and need to know if brass is gonna hold up
Question by: Neal S on May 28, 2025, 5:10 PM
Rated down to -40 degrees, so cold weather use are well within range for this one. The brass construction and Buna-N seals are both compatible with that lower limit, which makes it a solid pick for outdoor hydraulic setups that take a beating in winter conditions.
