Product Questions & Answers

got a tight spot to snake this hose through. what’s the smallest bend it’ll handle without kinking up?
Question by: Janice C on Feb 28, 2026, 6:05 AM
For routing, the minimum bend radius on this hose is 4.62 inches. Keeping your bend at or above that radius helps it flex as intended.

What kind of fluids can this hose handle without breaking down?
Question by: Warren S on Aug 4, 2025, 6:43 AM
This hose is designed to handle petroleum-based fluids, air, gasoline, fuel, lubricating oil, and other industrial fluids. It's a good all-around option for hydraulics.

rated for 2000 psi but what's the temp range on this thing, running petroleum fluid through it in a pretty hot environment
Question by: Pete W on Jan 19, 2026, 2:38 PM
Petroleum-based fluid applications can run up to 300 degrees F with this hose. The lower end holds down to negative 55 degrees F, so cold starts aren't a concern either. The one exception worth noting is air service, which is capped at 250 degrees F rather than 300. As long as your operating temps fall inside that window for your specific fluid type, you're in good shape.

got a tight spot to route it. how tight can i bend this hose without kinkin it
Question by: Tommy P on Feb 8, 2026, 8:58 PM
For routing, the minimum bend radius is 4.62 inches. Keeping the bend at or above that radius helps prevent kinking and protects the reinforcement.
