got an air brake line setup, is this hose actually rated for that and what’s it made of?

For engine and air brake service, this hose is built with an AQP elastomer tube, a polyester inner braid, and a single wire braid reinforcement, finished with a blue AQP elastomer cover. It also calls out FMVSS106, which lines up with air brake hose requirements.

got a compressor setup running pretty hot air. what is the max pressure on that if im just pumping air through it

Running air through the hose drops the maximum limits down to 250 PSI and 250 degrees Fahrenheit. For liquids like coolants or oils the rating goes up to the standard 300 PSI and 300 degrees.

For routing, the minimum bend radius is 4.5 inches. Keeping bends at or above that radius helps it hold its shape and protects the reinforcement.
