Does urethane hold up okay when things get real cold, like well below freezing? Asking cause we run equipment outside through the winter and can't afford seal failures mid-job.

Urethane can be a solid choice for cold-weather use. This particular wiper ring is rated down to -65°F, so standard winter temps shouldn't give you any trouble. It also handles the upper end well, rated to 220°F, which gives you a decent range if the equipment warms up under load during the day.
