Will this adapter hold up ok if I'm running hydraulic fluid through it at, say, 2000 psi?

Designed for performance hydraulic applications, this adapter should easily handle pressures up to 2000 psi when properly installed. Just be sure your system's overall pressure rating is compatible.

got a -12 JIC line coming off my pump and need it to tie into a 1/2 NPT port on the valve block. this the right adapter for that?

That's what this one's built for. One end is a -12 Male JIC with the standard 37 degree flare, and the other end is 1/2 inch Male NPT. Straight configuration, so no angle change. If your line and port match those sizes, you're good to go.
