Got a gauge port on a hydraulic manifold threaded 1/8 NPT, this the kind of fitting that'd step it down to a -03 JIC line?

That's what this adapter is built for. One end is 1/8 inch male NPT, which threads straight into a standard ported component or gauge port on a manifold.
