need a tight 90 in a -8 line, is this adapter -8 jic male on both ends or am i reading it wrong

For a -08 setup, it’s a 90 degree elbow with -08 Male JIC 37 degree flare on both ends, so it’s male to male JIC flare.

It's got -08 Male JIC 37-degree flare connections on both ends, should be what you're after.

Got a tight spot in a hydraulic line where I need to change direction without a lot of room to work with. This one of them 90-degree fittings or is the angle something different?

it's a full 90-degree elbow. Both ends are -08 Male JIC 37-degree flare, so you get a right-angle turn with the same connection type on each side.
