That angle works real well for tight routing situations. A 150-degree elbow gives you a much shallower bend than a standard 90 or 45, so the hose follows a more gradual path away from the fitting. That helps a lot when you're working around headers, frame rails, or bulkheads where a straighter or sharper fitting just won't clear.
