got a 4 inch hose. is this the male camlock end that shoves into the female coupler, with a hose shank on the other side?

Function-wise, it is a male cam and groove adapter that inserts into a matching female coupler, and the other end is a 4 inch hose shank meant to go into the hose.

To couple it, slide the male adapter into a matching cam and groove coupler and press the cam levers down using normal hand pressure. To uncouple, lift the cam arms back up and pull the adapter out.
