What kind of pressure can this handle? I'm using it for a pretty standard setup.

These aluminum cam and groove adapters are rated to 150 PSI for the 1/2" to 4" sizes. The larger 5" to 8" sizes are rated for 75 PSI.

Will this cam and groove adapter work with other brands?

Interchangeability is a key feature, as it's designed to work with all products made to A-A-59326 or DIN 2828 standards. Just keep in mind that 1/2" and 8" sizes might not always be a perfect match with other brands.
