To couple, slide the adapter into the coupler and press the cam levers down. To uncouple, lift the cam arms and remove the adapter from the coupler.

For 4 inch cam and groove fittings in this size range, the pressure rating is 150 PSI. One hard limit worth knowing upfront: these couplings cannot be used with compressed air or steam under any circumstances. Liquid service only. The body is aluminum with brass cam levers, so it holds up well in typical fluid transfer applications, but keeping it off air and steam lines is non-negotiable.
