Interchanges with all cam and groove products made to the A-A-59326 (superseding MIL-C-27487F) or DIN 2828 standards. Just a heads up, the 1/2" and 8" sizes might be a little finicky when mixing and matching.

Cast-in lugs on the female coupler body line up with slots in the cam lever arms once the adapter is fully seated. You drop a safety pin through those lugs and the coupler physically cannot be uncoupled until that pin is pulled. It's a mechanical lock, not just friction or tension. Good feature to have anywhere you can't afford an accidental disconnect mid-flow.

For a 1-1/2 inch ID hose, the ALC-150 is the matching size since it is a female cam and groove coupler with a 1-1/2 inch ID hose barb (hose shank).
