What kind of flow rating does this valve have?

This valve is rated for a 50 SCFM flow rating, based on a 100 PSIG input and 85 PSIG output.

runs about 600 cycles a minute sound right for this valve? trying to figure out if it'll keep up on a pretty fast automated line

Yeah, 600 cycles per minute is exactly what this valve is rated for, so it should hold its own on a high-speed line. Response time comes in at 22ms when energized and 27ms on de-energize for the single solenoid setup, which is quick enough for most automated applications running at that pace. Just make sure your supply pressure stays in range and your air is filtered to 40 micron or better, and you won't be leaving any performance on the table.

trying to run this valve on a vacuum setup, is that even in its range?

For operating limits, it is rated to work from vacuum up to 150 PSI. There is also an optional external solenoid supply plug kit (119306) that allows the valve to be used in vacuum and low pressure applications.

trying to tuck this valve in a tight spot, are the ports on the side and are they 1/4 npt?

For mounting in cramped panels or small manifolds, it uses 1/4 NPT ports located on the side, and the ports have ISO identification to help keep the connections straight during install.
