got a couple hydraulic hoses rubbing on a bracket, will this sleeve help keep em from wearing through?

For hose rub points, the woven Cordura or Anso-tex nylon sleeve is made to take the abrasion instead of the hose cover. As it gets scuffed, the nylon filaments frizz up and build a thicker shield, which helps extend hose life in severe abrasive spots.

Does this sleeve hold up if a hose is constantly rubbing against a metal edge or frame? Been burning through covers pretty fast on one of our machines.

Constant contact with metal edges is exactly the kind of abuse this sleeve handles well. The nylon filaments are woven in a way that as the outer surface wears down, the frizzed fibers actually pile up and form a thicker protective layer over time. So rather than wearing through to your hose quickly, it keeps building its own buffer.
