part number 9643-04-14X1.5, that's a female NPT on one end and a female metric fixed on the other, right? just want to make sure before I order

Correct on both counts. One end is female NPT and the other is female metric fixed, with the metric side running a 14x1.5 thread and the NPT side at 1/4 inch. That combination is what the SKU references, so you're reading it right.
