what's the thread size on the NPT end of this adapter? trying to match it up to a 1-inch female port on a hydraulic manifold

The NPT side is a 1-inch female connection with 11.5 threads per inch, which is standard NPTF. That'll mate up fine with a 1-inch male NPT fitting or port on your manifold.

For tying those two standards together, this part goes from an M42 x 2.0 male DIN 2353 S tube connection (S30) on one end to a 1 inch 1-11.5 NPTF female on the other, in a straight steel body.
