Product Questions & Answers

trying to swap a line over, is this the straight adapter that goes from 9/16-18 JIC male to an M18x1.5 DIN tube male?
Question by: Tony T on Sep 7, 2025, 4:31 PM
For a straight metric to 37 degree flare hookup, it matches those ends: Side 1 is a 9/16-18 UNF male JIC (3/8 size) and Side 2 is an M18 x 1.5 male DIN tube end (S10).

Will this fitting hold up in a hydraulic system running at, say, 3000 psi?
Question by: Floyd G on Jan 9, 2026, 2:40 PM
Given its steel construction, this fitting should handle typical hydraulic pressures without issue. But it's always best practice to check your system's pressure requirements against the fitting's specifications to ensure compatibility and safety.

what's the thread size on both ends of this fitting? need to match up a JIC line to a metric DIN tube connection and wanna make sure I got the right one before I order
Question by: Neil W on Nov 9, 2025, 6:09 PM
Side one is a 9/16-18 UNF male JIC, which corresponds to a 3/8" JIC size. Side two is an M18 x 1.5 male DIN tube fitting, sized at S10. So yeah, if you're bridging a standard 37-degree flare JIC line over to a metric DIN 2353 tube connection, this is the fitting that does that job in a straight configuration.
