Got a machine running JIC lines on one side and metric DIN tube fittings on the other, does this adapter go straight between the two without needing extra pieces?

That's what this one's built for. One end is a 1/4" Male JIC with a 7/16-20 UNF thread, and the other is an M16 x 1.5 Male DIN Tube in S08 sizing. It's a single inline piece, straight configuration, so there's no need for additional couplers or adapters between the two connection types. Steel construction holds up in standard hydraulic service without any fuss.
