got a JIC line running 7/16-20 UNF on one end and need to tie into a metric DIN tube fitting on the other, this the right piece for that?

That's what this fitting handles. One side is a 7/16-20 UNF male JIC, which is your 1/4" JIC connection, and the other side steps over to an M14 x 1.5 male DIN tube fitting in the S06 size. Straight body, no bends or offsets, so it drops right in where space isn't a concern. Steel construction throughout.

Hey, just want to make sure this fitting will work. I got a 1/4" JIC on one side and need to hook it up to a M14 x 1.5 DIN tube. This will do the trick, right?

It's designed to connect a 7/16 - 20 UNF male JIC (1/4" size) to an M14 X 1.5 male DIN tube (S06 size).
