Product Questions & Answers

trying to swap out an old fitting, how do i know if this one matches my threads?
Question by: Phil H on Jul 5, 2025, 2:42 PM
Start by matching the two ends: side 1 is a male JIC thread with a 7/8 - 14 UNF callout and a 5/8 inch size, and side 2 is a male DIN tube connection called out as M22 x 1.5 with an L15 size. If your existing part uses those same callouts on each end, this is the same style of straight connector.

trying to figure out if this'll work as a straight adapter between a JIC fitting and a DIN tube connection, am I reading that right?
Question by: Tommy H on Nov 15, 2025, 1:36 PM
Yeah, that's exactly what it does. One end is a 7/8-14 UNF male JIC, the other is an M22 x 1.5 male DIN 2353L tube connection in size L15. Both ends are male, so you'd be threading this into female receivers on each side. Steel construction, straight profile, no swivel or adjustability built in. Pretty much a direct bridge between those two thread standards.

Will this here fitting work alright for connecting a JIC fitting to a DIN tube?
Question by: Janice G on Sep 4, 2025, 5:28 PM
This Adaptall fitting is indeed designed to connect a male JIC fitting to a male DIN tube connection. Just make sure your sizes match up: 5/8" JIC to L15 DIN.
