what's the thread setup on both ends of this fitting? trying to figure out if it'll work between my JIC line and a metric DIN connection

One end runs a 3/4-16 UNF thread, which is your standard JIC male side sized at 1/2 inch. The other end is M22 x 1.5 metric thread, fitting an L15 DIN tube connection. So yeah, this one bridges a male JIC side to a male DIN 2353L side, straight through, no bends.

got a hose end that’s 3/4-16 UNF JIC on one side and a metric DIN tube on the other. is this the straight adapter for that?

For a straight JIC to DIN tube hookup, this fitting matches 3/4-16 UNF male JIC on side 1 and M22 x 1.5 male DIN 2353L on side 2. The DIN tube size callout on it is L15, so it is meant to interface with that DIN light series tube connection.
