Does this seal work without needing any extra parts or adjustments once it's in place?

Pretty much drop-in ready. The 947-00812 doesn't need an adjustable end, check valves, switches, diodes, or any electrical hardware to function. Once it's seated in your 257-Series Permco motor, you're good to go without any calibration or secondary components.

Made specifically for 257-Series Permco motors, this thrust plate seal is intended as a direct-fit component for that series so you are not trying to adapt a generic seal.
