got a Vickers piston pump im freshening up, is this PVM98 valve plate the piece that handles the flow paths inside the pump?

Can this valve plate handle the same pressure as the original one that came with my PVM98 pump? Don't want to put something in that'll cause trouble down the line.

This copper alloy valve plate is a direct replacement, so it should match the pressure rating of your original Vickers PVM98 valve plate.

Copper alloy is the material here, which is a solid choice for valve plates in piston pump applications. It handles the wear and fluid contact you'd expect in that kind of environment without giving out on you prematurely.
