trying to hook a JIC line to a JIS port, is this the right adapter for that?

What thread types does this adapter connect on each end, and are both sides the same size?

Both ends are sized at 3/8", but the thread types are different. One side is a 9/16-18 UNF JIC male, and the other is a G 3/8-19 JIS male. So you're getting a straight adapter that bridges those two standards without any size change between ends.
