got a hose with 1/2-14 NPTF on it and the other side needs to go into M18 x 1.5, is this the right adapter?

For tying those two thread types together, this fitting matches a 1/2 - 14 NPTF male on one end and an M18 x 1.5 female metric on the other, in a straight steel adapter.

Got a metric port on a hydraulic block and need to tie into an NPT line, this a straight shot or is there some kind of offset to it?

Straight through, no offset. One end is 1/2 inch male NPT, the other is female M18 x 1.5 metric, and the body runs in a direct line between the two. Steel construction, 39.4mm in length, with a 24mm wrench flat to torque it down clean. If your line and your port are pointing the same direction, this drops right in without any repositioning.
