Got a machine running BSPP ports on one end and JIC fittings on the other, this the kind of adapter that bridges that gap?

That's what this fitting does. One side is a 1-1/4 inch male JIC with a 1-5/8 - 12 UN thread, and the other is a 1-1/4 inch female BSPP. So if you've got a hydraulic line or component on each of those two thread standards, this swivel connects them straight through without any additional adapters in between.
