Got a Komatsu machine that needs a JIC line hooked straight into a male Komatsu port, this union do that without needing extra adapters in between?

That's exactly what it's built for. One end is a 1/2" JIC male fitting on a 3/4-16 UNF thread, and the other is a 22mm male Komatsu port connection. Both sides are male, so you're going straight fitting to port without stacking additional adapters. Steel construction, straight configuration, and at just under 51mm long it keeps things compact in tight spaces around hydraulic circuits on Komatsu equipment.

For a direct male to male hookup, it bridges a 1/2 inch JIC male with 3/4-16 UNF threads on one side to a 22 mm Komatsu male port on the other, all in a straight steel union.
