trying to hook a metric port to a 1/4 npt line, is this the right adapter?

For that kind of mix-and-match, this adapter gives you an M22 x 1.5 male metric on one side and a 1/4 - 18 NPTF female on the other, in a straight steel fitting.

That's what this adapter is for. Side one is M22 x 1.5 male metric, and side two is 1/4" female NPT, so it bridges those two thread types in a straight, compact package. The steel construction holds up well in hydraulic hydraulic connections applications, and at 18.2mm in length it keeps things tight without adding much bulk.

The wrench flat on the M22 side of this fitting is 27mm.
