Got a metric port on a hydraulic block that's M20 x 1.5 and need to tie into 1/2" NPT female thread on the other end, this straight adapter gonna work for that?

That's what this fitting handles. One end is male M20 x 1.5 metric thread, the other is female 1/2-14 NPTF. Steel construction, straight profile, 41.1mm overall length. Should drop right into that application without any adapters in between.

Will this fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic system for a log splitter? Just wanna make sure it's tough enough.

It's made from steel, so it should be plenty durable for most hydraulic applications, including log splitters.
