trying to hook an M10 x 1.25 line into a 1/8-27 NPTF port. is that what this adapter is for?

For connecting those two thread types, it matches up as M10 x 1.25 male on one side and 1/8 inch 27 NPTF female on the other, in a straight adapter body.
