got a hose end that’s 1-1/16 - 12 UN male JIC, will this adapter mate it up to a 15mm female Komatsu port?

It bridges a 1-1/16 - 12 UN male JIC connection on one side to a 15mm female Komatsu connection on the other, in a straight steel adapter.

Got a Komatsu port on a piece of equipment I'm trying to tie into a JIC line, this the right adapter for that job?

That's what this one's built for. One end is a 3/4" male JIC fitting with a 1-1/16 - 12 UN thread, and the other side is a solid female Komatsu at 15mm. Run it straight between those two connection types and you're good to go.
