Will this fitting work with other BSPP fittings, or is it a proprietary type deal?

This 90-degree elbow uses standard BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe) threads, so it should be compatible with any other fitting made to those specs. The female swivel end also meets ISO 1179, ISO 8434-6, and BS 5200 standards.
