Product Questions & Answers

Got a piece of Japanese equipment and the port on my pump is JIS, but the line I'm running to it has a BSPT fitting on it, will this adapter bridge that gap?
Question by: Phil F on Feb 4, 2026, 9:31 AM
That's exactly the situation this part handles. One end is Male JIS with a G 3/8-19 thread, and the other is Male BSPT with an R 3/8-19 thread, both in 3/8" size. Steel construction keeps it solid in hydraulic circuit use, and the straight configuration means routing stays clean as long as your two ports are lined up axially. At 42.9mm long with a 19mm wrench width, it fits into tighter assemblies without much fuss.

got a machine with a JIS male port on one end and BSPT female on the other, is this the right little adapter to tie em together?
Question by: Earl M on Aug 15, 2025, 5:32 PM
For tying those two thread standards together, it matches a Male JIS on one side and a Male BSPT on the other. Both ends are 3/8 size, with the JIS side called out as G 3/8-19 and the BSPT side as R 3/8-19.

Will this fitting work with both JIS and BSPT hydraulic lines, or do I need different adapters for each?
Question by: Earl P on Sep 30, 2025, 10:54 AM
This adapter is designed specifically to connect a male JIS port to a male BSPT thread. It's a direct solution when you're joining hydraulic lines that use these different international thread standards, so you don't need separate adapters.
