Trying to tie a JIS male port into a BSPT female fitting, is this the right adapter?

For a JIS to BSPT thread changeover, this adapter bridges the two standards with a G 3/8 - 19 JIS male on one end and an R 1/4 - 19 BSPT male on the other.
