Product Questions & Answers

Got a piece of equipment with a JIS port and I need to tie it into a line that's got BSPT fittings on it. This the right part to make that happen, or do I need something in between?
Question by: Phil M on Mar 22, 2026, 4:50 PM
That's exactly what this fitting is built for. One end is 1/4" Male JIS (G 1/4 - 19) and the other is 3/8" Male BSPT (R 3/8 - 19), so it bridges those two thread standards directly with no intermediate adapter needed. It's steel, straight configuration, 42.6mm long with a 19mm hex for wrenching. If your ports match those specs, you're good to go.

Will this adapter hold up okay in a hydraulic system on a tractor, or is it more for light-duty stuff?
Question by: Terry W on Apr 28, 2025, 1:42 PM
This adapter's steel construction should be suitable for typical hydraulic line pressures encountered in both industrial and mobile equipment applications, including tractors.

got a port that’s G 1/4-19 on one side and i need to tie into an R 3/8-19 line, is this the right adapter?
Question by: Travis R on Mar 13, 2026, 4:50 PM
For joining those two thread standards directly, it matches what you described. One end is a 1/4 inch Male JIS thread called out as G 1/4 - 19, and the other end is a 3/8 inch Male BSPT called out as R 3/8 - 19, in a straight steel adapter.
