Got a hydraulic line on a piece of equipment that's running JIC on one end and a JIS port on the other, will this adapter handle that crossover without needing extra fittings in between?

Straight inline connection, no extra pieces needed. One end is a 1/4" Male JIC with a 7/16-20 UNF thread, and the other is a 1/8" Solid Female JIS port. So if your circuit has those two standards meeting at a single point, this adapter bridges them in one shot. Steel construction holds up well in working hydraulic environments, and the solid female JIS end gives you a reliable face seal at the JIS side.
