got a hose end that’s 3/4 - 16 UNF JIC on one side and a 3/4 flat-face BSPP swivel on the other. Is this the right adapter for that?

Match-up wise, it lines up with a male JIC on Side 1 using 3/4 - 16 UNF threads, and a female flat-face BSPP swivel on Side 2 sized for a 3/4 inch connection.

got a line running 3/4 inch BSPP on one end and JIC on the other, this thing gonna bridge that gap without needing extra fittings in between?

That's exactly what this adapter is built for. One end is a male JIC at 3/4-16 UNF and the other is a female flat-face BSPP swivel at 3/4 inch, so you're connecting those two thread standards directly with a single piece.
