Is this here bearing the same as a regular radial ball bearing?

Permco lists this as the 257 PB radial ball bearing, so it is purpose-built to match the 257 series. The part number on this one is 921-01281, which is Permco's own supplier part number. If that lines up with what you pulled off your old bearing or your parts breakdown for the 257, you're looking at the right piece.
