got a hose end that’s 1-5/16 - 12 UN JIC male, will this mate up to a 25mm DIN standpipe female on the other side?

On the JIC side, you are getting a 1 inch male JIC with a 1-5/16 - 12 UN thread callout, and the other end is a 25mm DIN standpipe female. It is a straight steel adapter meant to bridge those two connection types.

Got a 25mm DIN standpipe port on a manifold block and need to tie it into a JIC hose line. This fitting work for that?

That's exactly the kind of crossover connection this fitting handles. One end is a 1 inch JIC male, threaded at 1-5/16-12 UN, and the other end accepts a 25mm DIN standpipe female connection.
