Got a 16mm DIN standpipe port on a hydraulic manifold and need to tie into a JIC line, this the right piece for that?

That's exactly the application this fitting covers. One end is a 7/8-14 UNF male JIC connection sized for 5/8" fittings, and the other end is a 16mm female DIN standpipe. So if you've got a DIN standpipe port on your manifold and a JIC hydraulic line coming in, this adapter bridges that transition in a straight, compact package. Overall length runs 55.5mm with a 27mm width, so it fits tight without a lot of extra bulk.

Is this here standpipe made outta steel? Just wanna make sure it can handle the pressure.

it's steel. So it's built tough for them heavy-duty jobs.
