fitting's only 39.9mm long, that gonna be enough thread engagement on both ends for a solid connection in a tight spot?

At just under 40mm total length, there's enough room for proper thread engagement on both the 7/16-20 UNF JIC side and the 6mm DIN Standpipe end. The compact size is actually the point here. When you're working in a cramped hydraulic bay where longer adapters just won't fit, this one keeps the routing clean without sacrificing a secure connection on either side.
