fitting's got a male JIC on one end and metric female on the other, that right? just trying to make sure before i order

Correct on both counts. The JIC side is a 3/8" male with a 9/16-18 UNF thread. The other end is a female DIN tube connection at M16 x 1.5. So if you're bridging a standard JIC line over to a metric DIN tube port, this is the piece that does it.

For fit confirmation, the ends are a male JIC 3/8 inch with a 9/16-18 UNF thread on side 1, and a female DIN tube connection with an M16 x 1.5 thread on side 2.
