got a metric DIN tube port on a manifold that needs to connect to a 3/8 JIC male line. this fitting gonna bridge that gap or am i lookin at the wrong part?

That's exactly what this one's built for. One end is a 3/8" JIC male with a 9/16-18 UNF thread, and the other is a female metric DIN tube port at M16 x 1.5. Steel construction, straight configuration, so if your manifold port matches that M16 x 1.5 spec and your line runs 3/8" JIC, you've got yourself a match.
