got a -10 hose end i'm trying to terminate with a female JIC swivel, this the right fitting for that?

For a -10 hose dash size with a female JIC/SAE 37-degree swivel connection, yes, this fitting lines up with that application. It's a swage-style fitting from Eaton's Synflex 90H series, built to terminate hose ends in that size range. The 37-degree flare seat is what gives you a proper JIC interface, so as long as your mating connection is SAE 37-degree male, you're set up right.
