Got a metric hydraulic setup and need something that ain't gonna rust out on me, this the right fit for that kind of application?

316 stainless steel is one of the better material choices when corrosion is a real concern. It holds up well in harsh or wet industrial environments where carbon steel fittings would start to fail. The metric design means it'll mate up correctly with other metric hydraulic components, so you're not fighting fit issues on top of everything else.
